New Staff Approved at CALS

If you have been following our updates, you know we have been in contact with the Minister of Health regarding the Calgary Ambulatory Lymphedema Service. This week, CALS announced that they have been approved for an additional half-time dedicated team member! With time, the CALS team hopes this will assist them in reducing the overall wait time to receive care at CALS.

ALA will continue to correspond with the Minister of Health and Alberta Health Services to emphasize the importance of this and similar programs and adequate funding.

If you wish to send a letter to the Health Minister or AHS, we may be able to assist with a template. Email info@albertalymphedema.com to see if we have one that will work for you.
